Job description

The Epic Application Analyst - Pharmacist is responsible for system design, build, testing, validation, implementation, and ongoing support of assigned Epic applications. This role collaborates with clinical and operational stakeholders to analyze workflows, design future-state solutions, and optimize Epic functionality to support organizational goals and patient care initiatives., * Participate in application design, validation, and advanced design sessions.

  • Analyze operational workflows and translate business requirements into system design.
  • Build, test, validate, and maintain Epic applications.
  • Participate in integrated testing and document results.
  • Support end users during go-live activities.
  • Provide rotational on-call support.
  • Maintain application and system documentation.
  • Review and test Epic upgrades and releases prior to production deployment.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimization.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, pharmacists, leadership, and operational teams.
  • Travel as required for Epic training and support activities.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) license?, Do you have experience in Software implementation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy OR
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Required Certifications & Licensure:

  • Active Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy License (Pharmacist/PharmD)
  • Epic Beacon Certification (Active at Submission)
  • Epic Willow Certification (Active at Submission), * Minimum 2-3+ years of Epic Analyst experience.
  • Experience supporting Epic applications in a production environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience with application build, testing, validation, and implementation.
  • Experience working with clinical workflows and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Experience providing end-user support and troubleshooting.
