Job description

We are seeking experienced Hardware Engineers / Network Deployment Technicians to support ongoing onsite infrastructure deployments at a customer location in Irvine, CA. This role is focused on the physical installation, replacement, and deployment of network and infrastructure hardware. Candidates should possess strong hardware installation experience and a solid understanding of networking concepts.

This position does not involve software configuration, system administration, or network configuration responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and deploy UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) equipment.
  • Install, replace, and physically connect network switches.
  • Install and mount surveillance cameras and associated hardware.
  • Perform rack and stack activities for network and infrastructure equipment.
  • Connect and organize power and network cabling.
  • Label, document, and verify hardware installations.
  • Assist with equipment moves, adds, and changes (MAC work).
  • Conduct basic hardware validation to ensure equipment is powered and properly connected.
  • Coordinate with customer personnel and project teams during deployment activities.
  • Follow customer site policies, safety requirements, and installation standards.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System deployment?, * Experience with hardware deployment and infrastructure installation projects.

  • Familiarity with networking hardware, including switches, patch panels, cabling, and rack-mounted equipment.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts such as:
  • IP addressing
  • VLAN awareness
  • Network topology
  • Copper and fiber connectivity
  • Experience installing UPS systems, network equipment, or surveillance devices.
  • Ability to read installation documentation and follow deployment procedures.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills related to physical hardware connectivity.
  • Professional communication and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in enterprise office, campus, or data center environments.
  • Knowledge of structured cabling best practices.
  • Experience with surveillance camera installations.
  • Familiarity with rack layouts, cable management, and infrastructure documentation.

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
