IT Deployment Technician

We are seeking an IT Deployment Technician to assist with an internal office relocation project. The technician will be responsible for moving computer equipment and a printer from one department to another within the same facility and ensuring all equipment is properly reconnected and operational.

The ideal candidate will have experience with desktop hardware, workstation setups, and basic troubleshooting.

Scope of WorkEquipment Relocation

• Relocate a total of:
• 8 desktop computer workstations
• 1 networked printer
• Carefully disconnect equipment from the current location.
• Transport equipment to the designated department within the facility.
• Reconnect all devices, peripherals, monitors, keyboards, mice, and network connections.

Workstation Setup & Validation

• Verify all computers power on successfully after relocation.
• Confirm network connectivity and peripheral functionality.
• Ensure the printer is properly connected and operational.
• Organize and manage cabling to maintain a clean and professional workspace.

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, * Experience with desktop support, hardware deployments, or workstation installations.

• Familiarity with PC hardware, monitors, printers, docking stations, and peripherals.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Ability to safely handle and transport IT equipment.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.

Additional Information

• This is a hands-on hardware relocation project.
• No advanced software configuration is required.
• Technician should be comfortable working independently and following project instructions.
• Completion confirmation and basic documentation may be required at the conclusion of the project.
