Job description

The Information Technology Support Technician is responsible for supporting and maintaining in-house technology equipment and IT/AV systems across the Omaha property. This role ensures optimal performance of corporate hardware and software by installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and upgrading systems. The technician also provides end-user support, training, and technical guidance to maintain seamless daily operations., * Support and uphold the Mission, Vision, and NATIVE Values of WarHorse Gaming

  • Assist in business continuity and disaster recovery planning; respond to system emergencies as needed
  • Install, configure, test, monitor, and troubleshoot:
  • End-user devices
  • Network hardware
  • Printers and scanners
  • Audio/Visual (AV) systems
  • Related software applications
  • Diagnose and resolve complex IT and hardware issues; coordinate off-site repairs when necessary
  • Provide AV support and communicate with third-party vendors as needed
  • Deliver hands-on training and technical support to staff on system usage and equipment operation
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, including servers, routers, switches, monitors, and peripherals
  • Document all hardware installations, failures, repairs, and removals
  • Track and manage IT equipment contracts and vendor services
  • Respond promptly to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Do you have experience in Wireshark?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Required:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma.
  • Two (2) years of experience installing and troubleshooting Windows operating systems, desktop hardware, and Microsoft products, with exposure to deploying and maintaining servers and network equipment in a data center.
  • One (1) year of experience working in an Active Directory environment using system tools such as WireShark, Fluke Meter, Altiris, and Ghost.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Previous experience in a casino setting.
  • Experience with gaming systems, table game systems, cash-dispensing systems, and kiosk technology.

Preferred:

  • Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA A+, or Network+ certification., * Exposure to varying conditions including weather, confined spaces, noise, dust, chemicals/fumes, heights, and secondhand smoke.
  • Requires regular lifting of up to 50 lbs., physical agility, balance, coordination, and dexterity for handling IT equipment.
  • Involves extended periods of mobility, standing, and occasional overtime or extended hours.
  • Requires concentration, analytical thinking, and decision-making under time pressure.
