Senior NOC Engineer

Responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex network architectures; terminating fiber and network cabling; and building, developing, and maintaining SD-WAN environments. The role also includes designing, writing, and updating system documentation and network diagrams, while independently administering, securing, and diagnosing enterprise-scale networks using routing protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and industry-standard network operating systems and tools. - Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various network architectures - Designing, writing, and updating both system documentation and network diagrams - Terminating fiber and network cables - Building, developing, and maintaining SD-WAN environments

• Active Secret clearance
• 5+ years of hands-on technical networking experience
• Strong hands-on Cisco routing and switching experience
• Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise network issues across Layers 1-5
• Strong network troubleshooting/root-cause analysis capabilities with ability to work independently
• Experience supporting both the physical and logical sides of Cisco network devices
• Enterprise network infrastructure support experience
• Working knowledge of network authentication, including AAA, RADIUS, TACACS+, and/or 802.1X
• Experience troubleshooting wireless networks/WLC environments
• Understanding of WAN/network connectivity and telecom technologies
• Ability to manage incidents/tickets, document troubleshooting, and follow/update SOPs
• Willingness to support applicable afternoon, night, and/or weekend shifts
• CCNA, Network+, or higher-level networking certification
• Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime, Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ASDM, Cisco WLC
• SolarWinds or ScienceLogic SL1
• Aruba wireless/networking
• Juniper
• VMware ESXi
• Cisco IOS upgrades
• DHCP troubleshooting
• WAN technologies including ISDN, ATM, and SONET
• Previous NOC experience
