Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer - Harness to own and lead the enterprise software delivery platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Harness, CI/CD platform architecture, DevSecOps, automated release management, cloud-native technologies, and enterprise toolchain governance.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the Harness platform, establishing reusable CI/CD pipelines, integrating security scanning, implementing engineering delivery metrics, and driving automation and governance across engineering teams. Experience in payments, fintech, or regulated transaction-processing environments is highly preferred., * 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Platform Engineering.

Strong experience owning and managing enterprise CI/CD platforms.
Hands-on experience with Harness or equivalent tools such as GitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, or Spinnaker.
Expertise in pipeline-as-code, reusable templates, RBAC, secrets management, and CI/CD governance.
Strong knowledge of DevSecOps and Static Application Security Testing (SAST).
Experience with automated release management and deployment strategies.
Strong API and integration architecture experience, including REST APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architecture.
Cloud administration, cloud-native architecture, and Kubernetes production experience.
Understanding of DORA metrics and engineering delivery performance.
Experience with distributed, highly available enterprise systems.
Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills., * Hands-on Harness experience, particularly STO, SEI, and CCM modules.
Policy-as-code experience using OPA/Rego.
FinOps, cloud cost optimization, showback, or chargeback implementation.
Experience applying Generative AI or agentic development patterns to engineering workflows.
Experience with payments, fintech, merchant services, or regulated transaction-processing platforms.
PCI DSS, IAM, fraud prevention, or risk integration experience.
Development experience with Java, .NET, Go, or Node.js.
Familiarity with GitHub and Atlassian toolchains.
