Database Specialist

Data Management & Database Operations

• Maintain database accuracy and integrity through ongoing data hygiene activities including, Deduplication, Record updates and corrections, Soft credit, and passthrough maintenance
• Conduct structured data audits including memberships, institutions, addresses, and related records
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies according to established standards and processes
• Standardize and map values using controlled picklists, validation rules, and established data governance practices
• Import and validate data from internal and external sources while ensuring data quality standards are maintained
• Fulfill routine database requests including: Marketing segmentation, Gift imports, Contact imports, Reporting requests, and Record updates

CRM Platform & Project Support

• Support CRM enhancements through testing, upgrades, configuration support, and validation activities
• Assist with database projects by tracking deliverables, maintaining project notes, and supporting timelines
• Create and maintain process documentation and data standards documentation
• Support recurring database processes to improve consistency and scalability

Do you have experience in Technical writing?, We are seeking a detail-oriented Database Specialist to support day-to-day CRM operations, data management, and database projects that support fundraising, education, membership, marketing, and organizational initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone with experience maintaining CRM systems, performing data cleanup, managing imports, and supporting database operations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-focused, and passionate about maintaining clean, reliable data., * 2-3+ years of experience working with CRM platforms and database systems

• Experience with:
• CRM administration/support
• Data imports and cleanup
• Record maintenance
• Data segmentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high data accuracy
• Strong written communication and documentation skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset

Preferred Experience

• Experience with CRM platforms such as:
• Salesforce
• Fonteva
• Virtuous
• Experience working within nonprofit, membership, association, education, or mission-driven environments
• Experience supporting fundraising or donor-related data processes preferred

$27 an hour - Full-time, Contract
