In this role, you will support a highly driven engineering team to sustain and develop next-generation mission capabilities in a challenging, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for ensuring assigned systems remain fully compliant with federal, DoD, and agency security requirements throughout their entire lifecycle. If you excel at developing robust security documentation, coordinating certification and accreditation activities, and acting as the vital link between technical teams and senior government officials, then this role is for you.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical documentation?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Clearance: Active Fully-Cleared with Poly Compliance Certification: Active DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level 1 certification or higher. SSP Management: Expert experience creating, updating, and maintaining System Security Plans (SSPs). System Accreditation: Proven background in managing system compliance, executing certifications, and guiding platforms through the SSP re-accreditation lifecycle. Security Assessments: Direct experience providing STE/STN compliance support. Technical Liaison: Strong communication skills to effectively bridge gaps between technical engineers, system owners, and senior government officials.
Education & Experience
Degree & Experience Tracks: Bachelor’s Degree: In a Qualified Engineering Field* or a related discipline plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience.
High School Diploma / GED: Twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience.
Master’s Degree: In a Qualified Engineering Field* or a related discipline plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.
PhD: In a Qualified Engineering Field* or a related discipline plus eighteen (18) years of systems engineering experience.
- Qualified Engineering Fields include: Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management.
Related Disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics. , Desired Skills
Experience navigating risk management frameworks within advanced malware analysis programs.
Familiarity with engineering architectures that utilize automated dataflows or microservices.
Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools, remediation tracking, and proactive risk mitigation tactics.

- 401(k) 10% Match, The annual base salary range for this role is $218,000 - $258,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package.
