Job description

Our Sys Engineers:

  • Perform systems engineering activities (of course!) and assist in the preparation of multiple work products in Project and/or Technical Process Areas associated with any of the ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2023 processes.
  • Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
  • Support the planning and test analysis of the Security Authorization Process.
  • Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s).
  • Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation (System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, Interface Control Documents, etc.).
  • Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
  • Participate in establishing and gaining approval of the definition of a system or component under development (requirements, designs, interfaces, test procedures, etc.) that provides a common reference point for hardware and software developers.
  • Independently analyze, and recommend alternatives for elements of project’s technical design.
  • Analyze and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for a project.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Test Planning (Quality assurance practices)?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, We are looking for Systems Engineering professionals, able to multitask and ready to excel in important US Gov’t missions., Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (4 yrs of related experience can substitute for the degree!) Cybersecurity certification may be required for more senior levels. Related experience must be in an I.T. technical role. We have positions from entry level up to SME.
