SAP ERP Shared Services - Lead Data/Automation Architect

GovSG is seeking a SAP ERP Shared Services - Lead Data/Automation Architect to lead the data architecture, automation design, and ongoing solution optimization across the SAP landscape. This role will serve as the senior technical lead for data and automation-related work, partnering with functional, technical, integration, and support teams to maintain stability, improve operational efficiency, and deliver prioritized enhancements. This position is remote but based out of Washington D.C.., * Lead data and automation architecture for SAP sustainment, support, defect resolution, and minor enhancement delivery.

• Define and maintain end-to-end architecture for SAP data flows, interfaces, automation solutions, and dependent systems.
• Oversee root cause analysis and solution design for complex production issues involving data quality, integrations, batch jobs, and automation failures.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve control, and increase support efficiency.
• Provide architecture guidance across SAP modules, middleware/integrations, reporting, and downstream/upstream platforms.
• Review technical designs, development objects, interface patterns, and data models for scalability, maintainability, and compliance with standards.
• Partner with business stakeholders, application support teams, and product owners to translate support needs into solution designs and delivery priorities.
• Support release planning, deployment coordination, regression risk assessment, and post-release stabilization.
• Establish and enforce standards for data quality, monitoring, logging, exception handling, and operational support readiness.
• Mentor developers and analysts, and serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues.

Do you have experience in User training (technical support)?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * DoD Secret Clearance

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Demonstrated experience working with SAP Navy ERP systems
• Experience providing Tier 3 or advanced functional/technical support
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train diverse user groups
• Understanding of Navy workflows, financial processes, or supply operations

Actual compensation offered to candidate will vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
