Data Center Technician

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced technology in a fast-paced environment dedicated to innovation and excellence., * Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including Cisco routers, Juniper devices, Ethernet switches, and VoIP telephony systems.

• Perform fiber splicing, cabling (Cat5, Cat6), and low voltage wiring to support network infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot hardware issues using hand tools, ohmmeters, and service manuals based on schematics.
• Support data center operations by managing power supplies, electrical systems following NEC standards, and performing equipment repairs.
• Assist with CCTV system setup and maintenance to ensure security camera coverage across the facility.
• Collaborate with field service teams to perform site visits for network installation, upgrades, or repairs.
• Document technical procedures, update schematics, and maintain detailed records of all service activities for compliance and future reference.

Do you have experience in Service technician experience?, * Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar IT/data center role with hands-on work involving computer hardware and telecommunication systems.

• Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN (Local Area Network), Ethernet cabling, and telephony systems such as Avaya or VoIP.
• Familiarity with network equipment from Cisco, Juniper, or similar brands; experience with Cisco routers is highly desirable.
• Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately; experience with electrical wiring standards (NEC) is a plus.
• Skilled in fiber splicing techniques along with cabling installation using Cat5/Cat6 cables in accordance with industry standards.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for equipment repair and installation.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
