If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for technology and problem-solving, this is the perfect opportunity to elevate your career in IT infrastructure., * Install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment such as Cisco routers, Juniper devices, and Ethernet switches to ensure optimal connectivity.

  • Perform fiber splicing and cabling tasks using hand tools and power tools to support network installation and maintenance projects.
  • Conduct routine inspections of data center hardware, including servers, switches, routers, and telecommunication systems like VoIP and Avaya.
  • Utilize schematics and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues related to electrical wiring, low voltage systems, and equipment repair.
  • Support field service activities by responding promptly to on-site requests for repairs or upgrades in data centers or customer locations.
  • Maintain detailed records of all service activities, including CCTV surveillance footage, schematics updates, and incident reports.
  • Assist with power management tasks involving NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and the use of tools like ohmmeters to verify electrical integrity.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Electrical schematic reading and interpretation?, * Proven experience as a service technician or field technician within data centers or telecommunications environments.

  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN (Local Area Network), Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), and network installation procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with telecommunication systems including VoIP, Cisco routers, Juniper equipment, and Avaya platforms.
  • Skilled in fiber splicing, cabling (Cat5/Cat6), electrical wiring, schematics interpretation, and equipment repair.
  • Familiarity with low voltage wiring standards and safety protocols aligned with NEC regulations.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues on-site or remotely.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to document work accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
