Job description

We are seeking an IT Technician for a contract opportunity supporting election-related technology operations in West Palm Beach, FL. This role is ideal for an early-career IT professional with 1 to 2 years of technical support, desktop support, or help desk experience who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

The IT Technician will help ensure computers, printers, routers, networks, and voting-related technology are properly configured, tested, maintained, and ready for use before and during election operations. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a structured government technology environment while working with a supportive team focused on accuracy, reliability, service, and public trust., * Set up, configure, test, and maintain computers, printers, routers, and election-related technology equipment.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, user account, and system issues at election offices and polling locations.
  • Provide on-site technical support for voting systems and ensure equipment readiness during early voting and Election Day operations.
  • Perform password resets, software installations, updates, hardware replacements, and basic network connectivity support.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, equipment status, and inventory information accurately.
