Job description
We are seeking a Salesforce Agile Project Manager to support a customer in McLean, VA. This contracting role will lead Salesforce-related initiatives from planning through delivery, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and product owners to ensure timely, high-quality execution. The ideal candidate combines strong project management discipline with Agile delivery experience and the ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams., * Lead Salesforce projects from initiation through closeout, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and delivery outcomes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify priorities, and translate needs into actionable project plans.
- Manage Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Create and maintain project schedules, action logs, RAID logs, status reports, and delivery documentation.
- Coordinate with Salesforce administrators, developers, analysts, QA, and business users to ensure seamless execution.
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers, escalating as needed to keep work on track.
- Support user story development, prioritization, and acceptance criteria refinement.
- Facilitate testing coordination, UAT support, and resolution of defects or process gaps.
- Communicate progress, milestones, and decisions clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure work aligns with customer goals, delivery standards, and Salesforce best practices., This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Agile Project Manager who understands Salesforce delivery and enjoys working directly with customers. The role requires strong coordination, communication, and execution skills in a hybrid setting.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Stakeholder management?, * 5+ years of project management experience, with a strong background in Agile delivery.
- Experience managing Salesforce-related projects, implementations, or enhancements.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning, Service Cloud, or similar Salesforce products preferred.
- Strong skills in project tracking tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and be onsite in McLean, VA 3 days per week., * Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on Salesforce experience.
- Agile certification such as Scrum Master or PMI-ACP.
- Experience supporting enterprise or client-facing delivery teams.
- Background in consulting, contracting, or managed services environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with backlog grooming and user story writing.
- Familiarity with testing coordination and UAT processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
