Job description

Design Group Collaborative is hiring a Full-time Project Manager to join our architecture firm. We have a client base that spans local towns and cities, school departments, healthcare, hospitality, laboratory and residential, among many others in the beautiful region of Downeast Maine. If you enjoy working with a close group of dedicated professionals, we are excited to meet you!

Description of your role:

  • Develop design concepts and translate them into construction documents
  • Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and details
  • Works on small to mid-size projects independently
  • Prepares reports and specifications as requested
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support permitting processes
  • Typically reports to firm principal
  • Full-time position with 35-40 hours a week available, depending on the candidate
  • Position is onsite in our Ellsworth Office, with remote days available as negotiated.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, * 5-10 minimum years of related experience for diverse client types

  • Architectural licensure in Maine or another qualifying state (RA or AIA) preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel and explore Maine
  • High-level proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, and MS Office
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

What will set you apart:

  • Experience with commercial projects
  • LEED, Passive House or other focused accreditation
  • Experience in rendering and/or graphics, including Photoshop, Enscape, and other visualization tools
  • Interior design experience
  • Historic Preservation
