Job description

Design Group Collaborative is hiring a Full-time Project Manager to join our architecture firm. We have a client base that spans local towns and cities, school departments, healthcare, hospitality, laboratory and residential, among many others in the beautiful region of Downeast Maine. If you enjoy working with a close group of dedicated professionals, we are excited to meet you!

Description of your role:

Develop design concepts and translate them into construction documents
Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and details
Works on small to mid-size projects independently
Prepares reports and specifications as requested
Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support permitting processes
Typically reports to firm principal
Full-time position with 35-40 hours a week available, depending on the candidate
Position is onsite in our Ellsworth Office, with remote days available as negotiated.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Teamwork?, * 5-10 minimum years of related experience for diverse client types

Architectural licensure in Maine or another qualifying state (RA or AIA) preferred but not required
Strong communication and presentation skills
Willingness to travel and explore Maine
High-level proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, and MS Office
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

What will set you apart:

Experience with commercial projects
LEED, Passive House or other focused accreditation
Experience in rendering and/or graphics, including Photoshop, Enscape, and other visualization tools
Interior design experience
Historic Preservation
