Applications Engineer

• Process customer RFQ’s by providing quotations and pricing breakdowns to the Account Managers.

• Take quote lineups from Account Managers or directly from the customer.

• Work directly with Account Managers to determine machine layouts and concepts for quoting.

• Obtain component pricing and quotes from vendors.

• Provide pricing breakdowns for all quotes with detailed labor and purchased material content.

• Some RFQ’s will require a customer specific pricing breakdown.

• Process any follow up information requested by Account Managers.

• Maintain a pricing reference guide for purchased components.

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Sales quoting?, * Technical knowledge of assembly machinery processes and industry preferred techniques.

• Specific knowledge of assembly machinery, as to powertrain assembly, axle and transmission assembly.

• Experience with AutoCad and or Solidworks is preferable.

• The ability to create simple assembly line layouts, and visual machine concepts.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites.

• Must have valid drivers license.
