Job description

The I.T. Manager is responsible to maintain 24/7 functional operations of the Parking Management system. This includes installation, maintenance, expansion and configuration of all applications and hardware.

  • Leads talent management processes, including hiring, coaching, disciplinary action, and separation, in accordance with company policies.
  • Manages all software/hardware related projects and ensures network and information security including, PCI compliance.
  • Directs use of parking systems to include monitoring, preventative maintenance, development, upgrades, testing and support.
  • Maintains documentation of current systems used by the organization
  • Ensure system, network and application architectures conform to corporate and departmental information security policies, standards and guidelines
  • Develops, maintains and manages relationships with internal (DotComm) and external vendors, service providers and hardware/software manufacturers.
  • Provides production support of software/hardware, troubleshoot issues and research/document patches/upgrades.
  • Serves as primary interface with Parking Management providing updates as needed.
  • Perform programming and software changes with local servers.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining web applications using HTML, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Responsible for IT related improvements and installations.
  • Manages and oversees IT and PARCS work orders.
  • Implements and operates preventative maintenance plan.
  • Understands network infrastructure and work with the local vendor(s).
  • Prepares business requirements, design and other technical documents when requested.
  • Participates in vendor contract negotiations and discussions.
  • Performs on-call duties, which may be required to work evenings, nights, weekends or holidays.
  • Adaptable to emerging technologies and capable of rapidly learning new systems and tools.

Requirements

  • Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Motivation - Must be independent and motivated to complete tasks.
  • Critical Thinking/Problem solving - Use logic and reasoning to identify alternate solutions.
  • Adaptable to change and results/detail oriented.
  • Flexibility - Able to be flexible with schedule to accommodate work-flow demand.
  • Knowledge of maintenance tools and basic networking infrastructure.
