Job description

We are seeking a Technology Manager to oversee our IT environment and serve as the primary liaison between our organization and our Managed Service Provider (MSP). This role is heavily focused on process improvement, communication, vendor management, and ensuring technology operations run smoothly across the organization., * Manage the relationship and performance of our external MSP, ensuring service levels and project goals are met.

  • Supervise one onsite IT technician and coordinate daily support activities.
  • Develop, document, and improve IT processes, procedures, and standard operating practices.
  • Oversee Office 365 administration for 500+ users, including account management and security.
  • Manage SharePoint environments, permissions, and collaboration tools.
  • Work with the MSP to maintain network infrastructure, WiFi, applications, and overall system reliability.
  • Lead technology projects, upgrades, and vendor initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Ensure cybersecurity, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery procedures are in place and maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with employees, management, board members, and external vendors.
  • Create user training materials and provide technical guidance when needed.

Requirements

  • IT leadership, technology management, or IT project management experience.
  • Experience managing third-party MSPs and technical support personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint, and network infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to establish and improve processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting organizations with 500+ users.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Strong vendor management and project management experience.
