Join our dynamic team at Richards Cajun Foods, a staple in the Church Point area for over 40 years as a Quality Assurance Technician and play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety. In this energetic position, you will be at the forefront of quality management, conducting inspections, audits, and analysis to uphold compliance with industry regulations and internal standards. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement, support manufacturing excellence, and ensure customer satisfaction through rigorous quality control processes., * Perform detailed quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Conduct regular quality audits in accordance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
- Utilize calibration tools like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to assess accuracy and precision of manufactured parts.
- Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, defect rates, and process performance to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to FDA regulations, HACCP protocols, CGMP guidelines, and other regulatory requirements throughout the manufacturing process.
- Support calibration and maintenance of quality systems, including Calypso software for trading or process management if applicable.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement quality assurance procedures that enhance product consistency and safety.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Quality audits?, * Strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Experience conducting quality audits and inspections within manufacturing environments.
- Excellent analysis skills for interpreting data collected during inspections and audits to identify trends or issues.
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes, quality control procedures, and quality assurance practices.
- Ability to operate advanced measurement instruments such as CMMs and vision inspection systems accurately.
- Effective communication skills for documenting findings clearly and collaborating with cross-functional teams on quality improvements.
