Job description
The PMG Help Desk Technician will be the primary contact for all PMG locations in reference to the help desk ticket and phone system. The Help Desk Technician is responsible for setting up and removing PMG user accounts, email accounts, and resetting passwords. The Help Desk Technician will troubleshoot basic issues regarding computer and laptop connectivity, functionality, printer, and scanner problems, and Veradigm system issues. The Help Desk Technician will serve as the point of contact for both the technical and clinical resource for PMG and will be expected to travel to all PMG locations on a routine basis., * Everyday tasks including end user support, physician support, printer/copier troubleshooting, end user training, connectivity issues, and user setup and termination.
- Assist in computer and server upgrades and other projects.
- Enhance clinical workflows and increase administrative efficiency.
- Full-time position with working hours of 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
Requirements
Do you have experience in User training (technical support)?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and communications skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in level of criticality
- Provide technical assistance for PMG under the direction of the Director of IT.
- General knowledge of working fundamentals, patch management, web-based and on-premises software support.
- Strong organizational skills and familiarity with a help desk ticket system.
- Demonstrates commitment to Pomerene Hospital’s Values., * Minimum high school diploma/GED.
- Minimum of an associate’s degree in information systems or related field - preferred.
- CompTia and/or MicroSoft Certifications - preferred
