Job description

At Omni Fiber, we’re building the future of fiber internet with fast, reliable, and future-ready broadband solutions for the communities we serve. We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to help design, optimize, and support the backbone of our growing network infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement scalable broadband and backbone network infrastructure
  • Lead deployment and optimization of routing, transport, and peering environments
  • Provide Tier 3 escalation support for critical network and performance issues
  • Develop network standards, engineering templates, and operational best practices
  • Perform testing and validation for new hardware, platforms, and configurations
  • Troubleshoot routing, switching, transport, fiber, and CPE environments
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and the NOC to support network growth and reliability
  • Mentor engineers and provide advanced technical leadership across the organization
  • Support maintenance windows, limited on-call activities, and operational escalations as needed

Requirements

Do you have experience in VPN management?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in network engineering, architecture, or ISP operations
  • Strong expertise with BGP, MPLS, OSPF/IS-IS, IPv6, NAT/CG-NAT, and VPN technologies
  • Experience with broadband service provider networks and backbone infrastructure
  • Hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, fiber transport, peering, and subscriber technologies
  • Experience with platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik, Nokia, or similar technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documentation skills
  • Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS/JNCIP, or similar are a plus
