Lead Network Engineer

Our client is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who can advocate for technical best practices and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. This is a hybrid position based in Fairfield County, CT. Lead Network Engineer’s Responsibilities and Duties:

• Build, configure, and maintain Cisco routers and switches across enterprise environments
• Design and manage Fortinet firewall policies, rules, and security architecture
• Deploy and support wireless network infrastructure and VOIP systems
• Evaluate current network design and architecture, identifying gaps and recommending improvements
• Communicate technical requirements and best practices clearly to non-technical decision makers
• Lead network projects from design through implementation, ensuring alignment with business and security standards

• Hands-on build and configuration experience with Cisco routers and switches
• Fortinet firewall experience, including policy management and security architecture
• Experience with wireless networking technologies and VOIP systems
