Job description
Sewer Equipment is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, documentation, and validation of electrical systems for truck- and trailer-mounted equipment. This role blends engineering design with hands-on implementation to ensure systems are reliable, well-documented, manufacturable, and effective in real-world conditions. While the primary focus is electrical system design, this role also collaborates across hydraulic and mechanical systems as part of an integrated engineering team., * Design and develop electrical systems for mobile equipment
- Create and maintain electrical and hydraulic documentation
- Support system integration across platforms
- Build, test, and validate system performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
- Evaluate and select components
- Collaborate to improve manufacturability and serviceability
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Do you have experience in Technical troubleshooting support?, * Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and circuits
- CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Effective communication and organization skills

Work Environment
This role combines office-based engineering work with hands-on activity in a manufacturing environment, including testing and troubleshooting real equipment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to move throughout the facility, use computers for extended periods, and occasionally use hand tools. Capable of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling as needed.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Occasional after-hours work and travel as required.
