HRIS & Systems Enablement
- Partner with HR leadership to strengthen system architecture and scalability as the organization grows.
- Build and maintain data structures, fields, reports, and dashboards to support business needs.
- Support system upgrades, releases, and testing cycles.
- Help design and optimize workflows across HR, payroll, benefits, and timekeeping.
- Serve as a backup HRIS administrator and subject-matter expert, supporting system configuration, testing, integrations, and enhancements.
Payroll Support & Coordination
- Understand payroll end-to-end processes, including earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, and compliance requirements.
- Support payroll setup, audits, reconciliations, and troubleshooting.
- Partner closely with Payroll to ensure system accuracy and clean data flow.
- Assist with payroll-related system changes, configurations, and documentation. Some payroll processing will be required.
Technology Building & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate current processes and identify opportunities to automate, streamline, or strengthen controls.
- Think holistically about how systems connect and how improvements in one area impact others.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Create SOPs, job aids, and training materials for ADP processes.
- Support acquisitions or organizational changes by helping integrate new populations into existing systems.
Stakeholder Partnership
- Work cross-functionally with HR, Payroll and Accounting.
- Provide responsive support to HR partners and managers.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly capable HR Systems Administrator to help strengthen and scale our HR technology ecosystem, particularly our ADP platform. This role blends HRIS expertise, payroll operational knowledge, and systems thinking to ensure our people systems are accurate, efficient, and continuously improving.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building better processes, connecting systems, solving complex problems, and partnering with HR, Finance, and IT to deliver a reliable employee experience.
The ideal candidate is both technically sharp and people-savvy: someone who understands payroll mechanics, thinks critically about system design, and communicates effectively with stakeholders., Required
- 5-8+ years of experience in HRIS and/or Payroll systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with ADP (Workforce Now, Vantage, or similar).
- Strong understanding of payroll concepts and setup.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically about systems, workflows, and data.
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience supporting system implementations or integrations.
- Exposure to benefits administration, timekeeping, or compliance.
- Project management experience.
