The role focuses on delivering scalable, resilient, and high-performance platforms that enable rapid product launches and seamless end-to-end customer experiences. Operating within a DevOps model, the engineer ensures production reliability through automation, observability, and continuous delivery, driving the modernization of CRM/OM capabilities on cloud-native platforms and supporting operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance workflow-driven processes for end-to-end order lifecycle orchestration (e.g. validation, provisioning, billing setup)

  • Build secure, scalable REST APIs for integration with billing, provisioning/OSS systems, digital channels, and external partners

  • Ensure API contract stability, versioning, and backward compatibility

  • Write and optimize complex SQL (PostgreSQL/Oracle) to support high-volume transactions and ensure data consistency across order and billing flows

  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.

  • Operate and maintain services on Kubernetes (EKS), including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support automated releases

  • Implement monitoring and alerting using tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch ensuring platform availability and performance

  • Produce technical design documentation and integration specifications

  • Participate in code reviews and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and external vendors

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in software engineering preferably in CRM, BSS, or enterprise platforms

  • Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, REST API development, microservices and distributed systems architecture

  • SQL expertise in PostgreSQL and/or Oracle including performance tuning and database administration

  • Working experience with Kubernetes and cloud environments, preferably AWS

  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum teams ideally within telecom BSS/OSS domains such as e.g. CRM, billing, order management

  • Experience with workflow-driven systems and orchestration engines

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
