Job description

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support SME to assess the client’s current desktop engineering and endpoint management environment, identify gaps, recommend industry best practices, and deliver a clear improvement roadmap with actionable solutions, timelines, and implementation plans. This role requires working onsite at the customer location in Irvine, CA and collaborating with IT leadership, infrastructure, and support teams., * Evaluate the existing desktop support and desktop engineering environment.

  • Assess endpoint management, software deployment, patch management, asset management, and support processes.
  • Identify operational, security, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and present recommendations, best practices, and a future-state roadmap.
  • Create detailed implementation plans, timelines, and priorities.
  • Optimize and enhance ManageEngine Desktop Central (Endpoint Central) utilization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve desktop support operations and user experience.
  • Document findings, recommendations, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

Do you have experience in UEM?, * Strong experience in Desktop Support and Desktop Engineering.

  • Hands-on expertise with ManageEngine Desktop Central (Endpoint Central).
  • Windows desktop administration and endpoint management.
  • Software deployment, patch management, and asset management.
  • Desktop environment assessments and process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills., * 8+ years of experience in Desktop Support, Endpoint Management, or Desktop Engineering.
  • Experience with SCCM/MECM, Intune, Active Directory, and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and endpoint security best practices.
