Job description

Sologic provides software and instructor-led training to help organizations solve and prevent problems in a structured and collaborative way. Through techniques like Root Cause Analysis and Failure Modes & Effects Analysis, we empower continuous improvement programs that enhance safety, improve equipment performance, and deliver high-quality products.

We’re looking for a strong C# developer who is just as comfortable in a customer scoping call as they are in an IDE. This is a hands-on technical role with real customer ownership - you’ll be the primary point of contact for integration projects from first conversation through go-live and beyond.

You’ll work closely with customers to understand their systems, scope realistic solutions, build and share working prototypes, and support deployments in their environments. Clear communication and genuine curiosity about customer problems matter as much as your coding ability.

We have a strong preference for someone located in the Seattle or Washington DC areas.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer integration projects, from kickoff through delivery
  • Lead scoping discussions to understand customer systems, surface constraints, and define realistic integration approaches
  • Build prototypes, proof-of-concept implementations, and code samples that help customers get unblocked quickly
  • Support and guide customers through on-premise installations to Windows Server environments
  • Write clean, well-documented C# code against our .NET LTS platform and SQL Server data layer
  • Collaborate closely with internal product and engineering on customer feedback and integration patterns
  • Collaborate closely with internal program/project managers to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Become the “go to” person for lowest level technical support on customer and on premise projects

TECH STACK

  • C# / .NET LTS - Primary - must be strong
  • SQL Server - AWS-hosted
  • Docker (Linux arm64) - Container deployments
  • Windows Server - On-prem installations
  • Next.js / React - Nice to have

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * 5+ years of professional C# development experience with solid .NET fundamentals

  • Comfort owning the customer relationship on technical projects - you enjoy calls, you write clearly, and you know how to manage expectations
  • Practical experience with SQL Server: query optimization, schema design, integrations
  • Familiarity with Docker and Linux-based deployment environments
  • Experience supporting on-premise software installations, ideally to Windows Server
  • Ability to translate fuzzy customer requirements into well-scoped technical plans

Nice to have: Front-end exposure to Next.js or React. You won’t own it, but it helps to read the codebase., * You’ve worked at a software company where you were the technical bridge between product and customer

  • You genuinely enjoy the diagnostic side of integration work - figuring out why two systems aren’t talking
  • You’re comfortable negotiating technical requirements between multiple parties
  • You’re unflappable when a customer’s environment is “a little different” from the docs, * Bachelor’s (Preferred)
