The Information Technology Generalist Administrator 2 role offers an exciting chance to guide critical systems that support the Pennsylvania Lottery. You will serve as administrator, technical consultant, and resident expert in the design and monitoring of applications, networking, database systems testing, and implementation plans. This position leads advanced information technology functions that support critical Lottery systems and statewide operations. It guides planning, implementation, and oversight of complex applications, networks, and data systems to ensure strong performance. As a Information Technology Generalist Administrator 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Systems Analysis: Conduct studies of existing technology methods and recommend improvements based on findings
- Technical Guidance: Serve as a key consultant on application, network, and database design and monitoring
- Project Leadership: Set development priorities, manage schedules, and oversee implementation of technical projects
- Resource Management: Manage fiscal needs, prepare specifications, and determine contractor requirements
- Security Oversight: Direct security and disaster recovery efforts and ensure compliance with statewide policies
- Staff Supervision: Train, guide, and evaluate staff while ensuring that work aligns with organizational needs

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Limited after hours support is required.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Middletown. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
