Job description

Seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality control processes within its metal fabrication manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for inspecting parts, verifying compliance with customer specifications, supporting quality documentation, and ensuring products meet industry and customer standards. The position works closely with production, project management, and customers to maintain high quality levels throughout the manufacturing process., * Inspect parts to ensure customer quality standards are met

  • Perform quality measurements and inspections
  • Support APQP and PPAP processes
  • Submit PPAP documentation to customers
  • Communicate with customers regarding non-conforming materials
  • Scan and validate new parts to customer specifications
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards
  • Collaborate with Project Management and production teams

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Precision measurement in machining?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

  • Client Interview Required
  • Valid Driver’s License Required
  • Must be able to communicate in English, * 1-2 years of Quality Assurance experience
  • Experience using direct-read measuring devices
  • Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment (not food production)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to read and use GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Requirements

  • Associate degree in Quality Assurance or related field
  • 2+ years of GD&T experience
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience
  • 2D/3D CAD experience
  • Forklift certification
  • Experience with:
  • PolyWorks
  • Inspection Manager
  • GageTrak
  • MS Office Suite

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, reaching
  • Lift up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Ability to wear PPE (steel-toe boots, hearing protection, etc.)
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels
