Quality Assurance Technician

• Checking body welding tooling and part accuracy using Vectorarm, Perceptron, & FARO portable CMM equipment.
• Gather part information from Digital Engineering systems, i.e., PolyWorks, Catia and 3D imaging software.
• Checking part quality using hand tools and quality checking fixtures.
• Support Sheetmetal Sub-assy. and Body build trials and activities during pre-production events.
• Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, parts, and part fitting.
• Analyze part and sub-assembly data and provide feedback to project leader(s).

Do you have experience in Sheet metal?, * 2-5 years of Automotive/ Aerospace Quality Metrology experience (Sheet-metal QA)

• Experience Using portable CMM equipment, Scanners, Laser Trackers. (FARO, Vectorarm, Leica, Creaform).
• Experience with 3D comparison softwares like PolyWorks, Cam 2, Scene, PC DMIS
• Strong mechanical ability.
• Ability to use small hand tools for adjusting / modifying part datums.
• Strong Computer skills, including MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to handle medium to heavy physical work.
• Must be a self-starter and self-motivated, with a continuous desire to improve skills and learn new technologies., * Sheet Metal, CMM equipment, and Metrology : 1 year (Required)

• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Monday - Friday
• 40 hours/week guaranteed
• Work on weekends, holidays, off shifts, and overtime

Pay: $40.00 per hour
