Job description

As a Senior Infrastructure Cabling Lead, you will oversee the deployment and decommissioning of critical network connectivity within high-density data center environments. You will drive operational excellence by mentoring technical crews, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining the highest standards of physical layer integrity. Responsibilities

  • Direct the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of complex copper and fiber optic cabling systems to ensure maximum network uptime.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians, fostering a culture of safety, precision, and professional growth.
  • Interpret architectural blueprints and floor plans to execute precise MDF/IDF closet layouts and cable management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project roadblocks and implement effective, scalable solutions.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control by conducting site walks, managing redline documentation, and overseeing project close-out procedures.
  • Optimize workflow efficiency by tracking performance metrics and documenting lessons learned for future infrastructure deployments.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Telecommunications blueprint interpretation?, * 3+ years of hands-on experience in data center network cabling and infrastructure support.

  • Expertise in fusion splicing, fiber termination, and low-voltage cable management.
  • Proven ability to lead, supervise, and coordinate mid-to-large scale technical teams.
  • Proficiency in reading technical schematics, floor plans, and building documentation.
  • Strong understanding of industry safety standards and quality assurance protocols., * Experience with network equipment patching and T1 line extensions.
  • Familiarity with SLA tracking and project management reporting.
  • Advanced knowledge of fiber optic testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and client requirements.
