Job description
We are in search of a Service Desk Specialist for Late Shift - 2 pm to 11 pm CST Monday through Friday.
This position is a very dynamic IT role, assisting with evening requests for support, cooperating with evening processing projects, and our SecOps team with Alerting and procedures. There will be plenty of opportunities to bring helpful new ideas and inspiration to this collaborative team-based environment while assisting clients and our own internal team., * Answer phone calls for help request, creating tickets and assisting as able.
- Monitor and assist Security Alerts.
- Complete help requests/tickets (ConnectWise Manage).
- Ensure workstation/server compliance with our monitoring and security stack.
- Manage end-user security access (AD, VPN, Citrix, SDP, etc.).
- Perform server/workstation maintenance (On Call / Afterhours as needed).
- Perform on-site work at customer locations.
- Escalating tickets on as need basis and creating ticket notes for details of help requests received.
- Cooperate in Projects in an advanced measure.
- Work as assigned by supervisor and management.
Requirements
Do you have experience in VMware?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, If you’re an innovator, problem solver, and ready to make your next career move, then this is the job for you!, Must have 3-5 years of experience being employed in an IT position with experience with Windows Desktops, Windows Servers, VMWare, and Network Recoveries., * US Citizen
- Previous experience of at least three to five years in an IT Support role (or equivalent knowledge)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Windows OS and Server OS with ability to quickly maneuver through needed tools, features, and basics of OS installations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure with an understanding of cloud communications
- Strong ability to write documentation
- Advanced knowledge of computer issues and paths to resolutions
- Complex understanding of Network communications/structures and paths of data to and from other associated technologies
- Understanding of the OSI Model
- Strong organizational skills
- Professional attire / demeanor / attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must take ownership of your job/responsibilities (you will have assistance from leadership), * High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift with 1 hour break
- Late shift - 2 PM to 11 PM CST
