IT Service Desk Technician Tier 1

We are seeking a Service Desk Specialist for 8 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM shifts, CST, Monday through Friday.

This is a dynamic IT role assisting with support requests and collaborating with the Service Desk team on tickets, escalations, and projects. There will be plenty of opportunities to bring new ideas and inspiration to this collaborative, team-based environment while assisting clients and our internal team.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls for help requests, create tickets, and assist as needed
• Complete help requests and tickets using ConnectWise Manage
• Ensure workstation and server compliance with our monitoring and security stack
• Manage end-user security access (AD, VPN, Citrix, SDP, etc.)
• Perform server and workstation maintenance (on-call / after-hours as needed)
• Perform on-site work at customer locations
• Escalate tickets as needed and document details of help requests received
• Assist with basic project processes
• Work as assigned by supervisor and management

• 1-5 years of previous experience in an IT Support role
• Knowledge of MS Windows 7/8/10 and Server OS tools and features
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
• Basic understanding of network communications and structures
• Strong organizational skills
• Professional attire, demeanor, and attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must take ownership of your job and responsibilities (support from leadership is available), * High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• 8-hour shift with 1-hour break
• 8 AM to 5 PM or 7 AM to 4 PM CST
• Monday to Friday
