Job description

As a Packaging Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the reliability and performance of our automated packaging infrastructure. By leveraging your technical expertise in high-speed machinery and process optimization, you will drive operational excellence and lead strategic initiatives that directly impact our production output. Responsibilities

  • Maximize equipment uptime and overall line efficiency through proactive maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by applying Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC methodologies to optimize packaging workflows.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of packaging equipment, from initial selection and procurement to final qualification and installation.
  • Analyze performance data to track project milestones and report on key operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all equipment modifications meet rigorous safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical leadership during new product introductions and facility capacity expansion projects.
  • Utilize advanced design tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to develop and implement innovative engineering solutions.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Workflow management (operations management method)?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering?, * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 7+ years of professional experience in high-volume production or manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in OEE tracking, Root Cause Analysis, and Lean principles.
  • Strong technical design capabilities using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and adapt to evolving operational priorities., * Prior experience working within FDA-regulated manufacturing sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with emerging technologies, including 3D printing and laser scanning.
  • Expertise in managing OEM relationships and equipment integration.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring team members and driving collaborative problem-solving.
