Job description

As a Manufacturing Systems Engineer, you will serve as a key technical resource, driving operational excellence and process optimization within our production environment. You will leverage your expertise in equipment troubleshooting, data analysis, and project management to enhance system reliability and deliver measurable improvements in manufacturing efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Lead process improvement initiatives by utilizing Statistical Process Control (SPC) to elevate batch quality and operational consistency.
  • Manage end-to-end capital projects, from initial planning and vendor coordination to final implementation and performance validation.
  • Optimize facility workflows and equipment layouts to maximize production throughput and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams and external contractors to execute repairs, upgrades, and system enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot complex manufacturing systems, including process controls, PLCs, and utility infrastructure, to minimize downtime.
  • Design and interpret technical documentation, including P&IDs, blueprints, and architectural drawings.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical report writing?, * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (ABET accredited).

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Fusion 360 for design and layout planning.
  • Experience with PLC programming and Ladder Logic troubleshooting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Excel and technical reporting tools., * Prior experience within a manufacturing or industrial production setting.
  • Demonstrated success in leading business process improvement projects across cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards such as RCRA and DOT awareness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaborative problem-solving and vendor management.
