Job description

  • Manage and maintain IBM i (AS400) systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement AS400 programming solutions using RPG, CL, and SQL.
  • Perform system performance tuning and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Coordinate system backups, recovery processes, and security protocols to safeguard data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system modernization and integration efforts.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with IBM i (AS400) systems administration and management.
  • Proficiency in AS400 programming languages such as RPG, CL, and SQL.
  • Solid understanding of IBM System architecture and infrastructure components.
  • Experience with system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and job scheduling.
  • Knowledge of backup/recovery tools, security best practices, and compliance standards for IBM i environments.
