Utility Outage Systems Support Professional (OpenGrid Network), Remote

· We are seeking an experienced Senior OMS Application Support Engineer to provide subject matter expertise and technical support for Electrical Utility Outage Management Systems (OMS) for the Client.

· The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting utility operational applications, outage management platforms, system upgrades, database environments, and production support activities. This role will support OMS implementation initiatives, operational enhancements, and infrastructure modernization efforts.

· The candidate will provide subject matter expertise in support of Outage Management System (OMS) implementation and operational support to the Client.

· The role requires strong experience in electrical utility outage management applications, system maintenance, back-office support, configuration, testing, and operational troubleshooting.

· The candidate will support OMS-related projects, customer communications, operational activities, and upcoming database/server infrastructure upgrades.

Responsibilities:

· Provide subject matter expertise for Electrical Utility Outage Management Application maintenance and support.

· Support OMS-related projects, operational activities, customer communications, and system enhancements.

· Assist with system logic, business processes, workflows, and data analysis related to OMS applications.

· Provide hands-on support for OMS configuration, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.

· Support upcoming database and server operating system upgrades.

· Evaluate hardware/software deliveries and support integration into operational environments.

· Perform technical analysis, system validation, issue resolution, and production support activities.

· Collaborate with IT teams, engineering teams, operations teams, and application stakeholders.

Do you have experience in Utilities software support?, · Electrical Utility Outage Management System (OMS) maintenance experience.

· Back-office application support experience.

Experience with:

· OpenGrid Network (formerly PragmaUP / PragmaLINE)

· SQL databases

· Python scripting

· Windows Server maintenance and operational support

· Strong understanding of utility operational systems and application support.

· Ability to independently analyze and resolve complex technical issues.

Education & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

· 15+ years of experience in complex technical systems, application support, consulting, system integration, or operational technology environments.
