Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Technician to join our technology support team. In this role, you will be the frontline problem solver, ensuring that all users have seamless access to technology resources and that technical issues are resolved swiftly and efficiently., * Provide technical support to end-users across various departments, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

  • Manage computer systems including installation, configuration, updates, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Support software troubleshooting for applications such as Microsoft Office suite, operating systems (mostly Windows server)
  • Maintain and administer computer networks including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, Azure, and SharePoint.
  • Monitor IT infrastructure health using tools like Atera and other help desk platforms; document incidents and resolutions accurately.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in providing IT support within a fast-paced small business environment or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Hands-on experience managing operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11/Server)
  • Familiarity with network administration concepts such as LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Prior experience supporting IT infrastructure in environments utilizing Microsoft Windows Server platforms is highly desirable.
