Job description
We are seeking a Data Center Facility Operations Technician to support daily facility operations within mission-critical data center environments. This role is responsible for monitoring facility systems, responding to alarms, supporting maintenance activities, and ensuring operational records and procedures are properly executed., * Perform 7×24 on-site facility monitoring and shift duty in the data center, confirming real-time operating status and promptly identifying alarms, incidents, and failures.
- Conduct routine inspections according to defined routes and frequencies, covering key facility systems such as power distribution, UPS, batteries, HVAC, chilled water systems, diesel generators, and fire system coordination.
- Accurately record equipment operating parameters, inspection results, abnormal findings, and handover information.
- Respond to incidents and alarm tickets according to standard procedures, promptly notify the site lead, and support engineers in emergency handling and issue closure.
- Execute daily facility operations and support emergency switching activities, including utility power, generator, and UPS-related scenarios.
- Follow up on changes, incidents, and failures to ensure timely reporting, complete process records, and traceable resolution results.
- Support shift scheduling, handover, and daily team coordination to ensure continuous and standardized on-site operations.
Requirements
Do you have a valid HVAC Certification license?, Do you have experience in Teamwork?, * Full-time college degree or above, preferably in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Refrigeration, Automation, Computer Science, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of experience in data center, server room, building facility, MEP equipment, electrical, or low-voltage operations.
- Familiarity with data center facility systems, including power distribution, UPS, batteries, precision cooling, chillers, diesel generators, and fire system coordination is preferred.
- Basic capability in inspection, parameter recording, abnormality identification, alarm escalation, and emergency response.
- Knowledge of LOTO, PTW, electrical safety, and on-site safety procedures is preferred.
- Electrical license, refrigeration certificate, or local electrical safety qualification is preferred.
- Strong sense of responsibility and execution; able to adapt to rotating shifts, night shifts, and emergency call-out requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with facility teams, IT operations, fire safety teams, and vendors.
- Basic English reading and writing ability is preferred; Chinese communication ability is a plus.
