Solutions Engineer

• Develop distributed generation and microgrid solutions.
• Lead customer discussions to understand technical requirements, reliability goals, and site constraints.
• Design medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, including single-line diagrams and system layouts.
• Evaluate load requirements, generation sizing, reliability targets, and future expansion needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, EPC, product, and commercial teams to deliver executable solutions.
• Prepare technical proposals, presentations, and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits and assess field conditions.
• Analyze trade-offs between cost, schedule, reliability, and constructability.
• Support project transition from proposal stage to execution.

Success in This Role Within 12 months, you will:

• Independently lead customer-facing technical discussions.
• Develop complete microgrid and distributed generation solutions.
• Create high-quality single-line diagrams and system layouts.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to commercial teams.
• Help customers make informed power infrastructure decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• 2+ years of experience in power systems, distributed generation, microgrids, utility infrastructure, or related fields.
• Experience with electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of load flow, short circuit, protection, and reliability studies.
• Proficiency with tools such as ETAP, PSCAD, PSS/E, MATLAB/Simulink, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Understanding of utility interconnection, switchgear, protection systems, generators, DERs, and microgrid architectures.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
