Job description
As a Network Security Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient network operations across enterprise environments. You will focus on managing firewall configurations, supporting infrastructure modernization, and implementing security controls to meet regulatory standards. This role involves hands-on administration of network security technologies, resolving operational issues, and maintaining high levels of system security and availability in a dynamic and regulated environment., * Review, execute, and manage firewall service requests, change requests, and incident tickets
- Configure and maintain network security appliances including next-generation firewalls
- Support infrastructure modernization by decommissioning and refreshing end-of-life hardware
- Implement and enforce security controls to meet compliance standards
- Manage and troubleshoot firewall configurations and network security policies
- Support break-fix activities and resolve operational security issues
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours incidents and maintenance activities
- Monitor network security posture and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure secure and reliable network operations

Requirements
- Strong experience in network security and firewall administration
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls including zones, policies, NAT, VPN, and threat prevention
- Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls including configuration and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals including routing, subnetting, and OSI model
- Experience managing security requests, change management, and incident response processes
- Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory frameworks
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage operational responsibilities effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Availability for on-call rotation and after-hours support as required
