Job description

We are seeking an experienced AEM Lead Developer to architect, lead, and deliver enterprise-grade Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions across web, mobile, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will drive technical design, mentor development teams, and work closely with architects, product owners, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to build scalable digital experience solutions using Adobe Experience Cloud.

The role requires strong expertise in AEMaaCS, cloud-native deployments, AI-assisted development workflows using tools like Cursor and GenAI coding assistants, AEM Agents, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise integration patterns.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead end-to-end AEM solution architecture and implementation for enterprise digital platforms
  • Design and develop advanced AEM components, editable templates, workflows, content fragments, experience fragments, and custom OSGi services
  • Define scalable content architecture, security models, dispatcher configurations, and multi-environment deployment strategies
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices using Cursor IDE, GenAI coding tools, and automated code-generation workflows
  • Implement and optimize AEM Agents, replication strategies, cache invalidation, and publishing mechanisms
  • Lead AEM Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) deployments using Cloud Manager, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automated quality gates
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams for containerized deployments, monitoring, logging, and cloud infrastructure optimization
  • Establish coding standards, reusable frameworks, performance tuning practices, and secure coding guidelines
  • Mentor junior and senior developers through code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical guidance
  • Integrate AEM with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party enterprise systems
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues involving Sling, OSGi, dispatcher, CDN, and cloud environments
  • Drive Agile delivery processes and collaborate with distributed global teams

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of software engineering experience with strong Java/J2EE expertise
  • 5+ years of hands-on AEM development experience in AEM 6.x and AEMaaCS
  • Knowledge of Edge Delivery Services and headless CMS architecture
  • Deep expertise in Sling, OSGi, JCR, Oak, dispatcher, MSM, workflows, and AEM architecture
  • Strong experience with AEM Cloud Service deployments and Adobe Cloud Manager
  • Hands-on experience with AEM Agents, replication, dispatcher/CDN caching, and cloud environments
  • Experience using Cursor IDE, AI coding assistants, GenAI tools, or Copilot-style development workflows
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, and automated testing
  • Expertise in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and enterprise integrations
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and enterprise security standards
  • Experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers

NICE TO HAVE

  • Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign integrations
  • React, Angular, Next.js, SPA Editor implementations
  • Experience with containerized/cloud-native deployments
  • Exposure to AI-powered development workflows and AEM automation agents
