Job description
We are seeking an experienced IBM Cognos & DataStage Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehousing, Reporting, and Data Integration solutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in IBM Cognos Analytics, Framework Manager, IBM InfoSphere DataStage, PL/SQL, and Enterprise Data Warehousing. The role requires working closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and solution architects to build scalable reporting and analytics platforms. Experience with modern cloud and big data technologies such as Databricks, Spark Scala, and AWS is highly preferred., Architecture & Solution Design
- Design and architect enterprise-scale Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing solutions.
- Define data integration, ETL, reporting, and analytics architecture.
- Develop enterprise reporting strategies and governance standards.
- Design scalable and high-performance BI platforms.
IBM Cognos Development
- Design and develop Cognos reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytical solutions.
- Build and maintain Cognos Framework Manager models.
- Create reusable reporting frameworks and metadata layers.
- Optimize Cognos reporting performance and security.
Data Integration & ETL
- Design and develop ETL solutions using IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Build and maintain complex data integration workflows.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading processes.
- Support large-scale enterprise data migration projects.
Database Development
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
- Design and maintain data warehouse schemas and data marts.
- Perform SQL tuning and query optimization.
- Support data quality and governance initiatives.
Cloud & Big Data Integration
- Collaborate with cloud and data engineering teams.

- Participate in cloud modernization and migration initiatives.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with business users to gather reporting and analytics requirements.

- Participate in architecture reviews and solution design discussions.
