Paralegal IT Specialist

• Maintaining IT infrastructure, including networks, operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
• Performing server administration tasks (e.g.: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services).
• Developing and implementing maintenance procedures, monitoring system health, gathering system statistics, and troubleshooting reported errors, alarms, and issues as they arise.
• Managing regular backup operations and implementing appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Project management and implementation as it pertains to legal processes and procedures, including use of RPA and coding.

• Power Automate Processes, * A college degree in computer science, information technology, related field, or equivalent relevant working experience of 5 plus years in an IT or AI related field.

The IT Specialist will contribute to the continued success of Kohn Law Firm by taking responsibility for the maintenance, configuration, protection, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and infrastructure as they pertain to the Paralegal Department. This includes hardware and software installation, coding projects and implementation, as well as research and development of programs to help continuously keep up with the business needs of the Firm. This position will support a team of approximately 55 paralegals, supervisors and managers both in the office and with remote access.
