Job description

Brief Description of Position Under the direction of the Chief Technology Officer, the Network Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, monitoring, security, and support of the organization’s network, server, cloud, telecommunications, and infrastructure systems. The Network Administrator serves as the lead technical resource for infrastructure operations and is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and availability of technology services. The position provides advanced technical leadership, supports technology modernization initiatives, and collaborates with staff, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver secure and effective technology solutions.

Major Duties and Responsibilities 1. Administer, maintain, monitor, and support network infrastructure including switching, routing, wireless, and firewall systems. 2. Manage server, storage, virtualization, cloud, and enterprise infrastructure environments. 3. Monitor technology systems to ensure reliability, performance, capacity, and availability. 4. Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, security standards, and infrastructure protection measures. 5. Support cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability management, remediation efforts, and incident response activities. 6. Administer identity and access management systems, directory services, authentication platforms, and account security controls. 7. Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity technology systems. 8. Administer telecommunications, VoIP, unified communications, and related technologies. 9. Plan, coordinate, and implement infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects. 10. Evaluate and recommend hardware, software, cloud services, and infrastructure solutions. 11.
