Job description
The Software Engineer II will contribute to building a next-generation, real-time collaborative platform for web content creation, publishing, and management. As an early engineer on this founding-stage product, the role involves owning feature development end-to-end, influencing architectural decisions, and working closely with a small, senior team. This position is critical to defining and shaping the product, contributing directly to the evolution of a platform that aims to modernize content management., * Build and ship full-stack features across backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code with shared ownership of quality
- Participate actively in technical design discussions and architectural decisions
- Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into well-crafted software
- Integrate AI tools into development workflow and the product
- Conduct code reviews and help maintain high engineering standards
- Learn and grow within a challenging and supportive team environment
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience shipping production code on both backend and frontend
- Familiarity with modern API design such as REST, GraphQL, or webhooks
- Comfortable with cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Strong fundamentals in writing tests, understanding tradeoffs, and maintainability
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Active use of AI in development workflows or product integration

Pay Range and Compensation Package: * The US base salary range for this position is $116,640 to $145,800 USD per year * Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with compensation decisions based on individual circumstances * Visa sponsorship is not available for this role
