Job description
We’re hiring a Senior UX/UI Designer to take ownership of client delivery. This is not a support role and it is not a learn-on-the-job role. You’ll be the designer carrying projects from discovery through final handoff, often as the primary design point of contact. You’ll work directly alongside the creative director as a strategic partner, not under close supervision., * Lead client projects end-to-end: research, IA, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity UI, and design systems.
- Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries
- Run usability testing and iterate based on real feedback
- Present and defend design decisions directly to clients and stakeholders
- Produce developer-ready handoff and collaborate closely with engineering to ensure faithful implementation
- Plan and delegate work to junior/mid-level designers, review their output, and keep projects on track
- Use agentic AI tools to accelerate your work, from research and ideation to UI generation, prototyping, and handoff
- Manage your own timelines, milestones, and deliverables with minimal oversight
Requirements
- 5-7 years in a well defined product/UX/UI design role, with a track record of project ownership and working with fast-moving teams
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including design systems, components, variables, and auto-layout
- Demonstrated ability to take a design from Figma to clean HTML/CSS (front-end framework familiarity is a strong plus) and dev handoff
- Strong command of composition rules, typography, design patterns, and core UX principles
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- A portfolio with at least 2 case studies showing real problems solved through design, from research to shipped outcome.
- Fluent, client-ready communication in English and Romanian
- Experience planning and delegating work: You know how to break a project down, hand off clearly, and review without micromanaging
- Demonstrated fluency with agentic AI tools in a real design workflow: You use them to move faster and lift the quality of your output, not as a novelty
- Self-directed work ethic and the judgment to make and defend decisions, * Experience with B2B/SaaS platforms or the retail/eCommerce sector
- Experience working directly with international (especially US) clients
- Familiarity with no-code tools (Webflow, Framer) and/or front-end development beyond markup, for fast prototyping.
- Familiarity with frontend animation tools and Video/Image Gen AI tools.
Benefits & conditions
- Competitive salary: 10,000 - 12,000 RON net/month (commensurate with experience)
- Performance-based bonuses tied to project outcomes
- Premium medical subscription
- Life-insurance plan
- Latest generation MacBook Pro
- Co-working subscription at any worldwide Spaces/Regus location
- Hybrid work model: 4 days remote, 1 day in office
- Structured workflow with clear tasks, milestones, and daily syncs
- Direct exposure to international and US-facing projects across diverse industries
- Conference attendance and professional development budget
