Job description
The Sr. EDI Analyst coordinates, monitors, and supports EDI operations and partner integrations. This role requires hands-on operational experience with Oracle B2B, composites, and Oracle Enterprise Manager to monitor transaction flow, troubleshoot issues, and support production integrations. The role works closely with vendors, trading partners, business users, and IT teams to manage onboarding, resolve issues, maintain transaction flow, and drive process improvements.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Coordinate EDI onboarding, setup, testing, communication, and go-live support for trading partners Monitor daily EDI transactions and resolve processing issues to reduce business impact Act as the main contact for EDI status, issues, and changes across business users, partners, and IT teams Coordinate issue resolution across application support, infrastructure, business operations, and external partners Track EDI requests, incidents, enhancements, and partner setup activities to timely closure Support testing for EDI changes, partner implementations, and transaction updates Maintain EDI process documentation, partner details, support procedures, and transaction flow references Partner with business and technical teams to define requirements and coordinate solutions Provide status updates on issues, onboarding progress, and operational metrics Support root cause analysis and follow-up for recurring EDI issues and failures Drive improvements that increase EDI reliability, response time, communication, and efficiency
Requirements
To meet the required profile, one should have hands-on operational experience with:
- Oracle B2B (Business-to-Business)
Experience managing and supporting Oracle B2B Commerce or related integration platforms. Ability to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot B2B transactions, including EDI-based exchanges. Familiarity with B2B workflows, order management, and integration with trading partners.
- Oracle Composites
Hands-on with Oracle Composites Applications (e.g., Composites BPEL, SOA, or Integration Cloud) for building, deploying, and managing composite services. Experience in orchestrating multiple services into a single, integrated workflow. Knowledge of service composition patterns, error handling, and performance tuning.
- Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
Operational experience using OEM for monitoring, alerting, and performance management of B2B and integration environments. Ability to troubleshoot issues using OEM’s diagnostic tools, logs, and dashboards. Experience in production support scenarios, including incident resolution and change management.
- EDI Concepts & Standards
Strong understanding of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), including ANSI X12 and CXML standards. Knowledge of transaction sets (e.g., 850, 856, 990, 997) and their mapping to business processes. Experience in setting up and maintaining EDI connections, mapping, and testing with trading partners.
- Business Processes
Understanding of the end-to-end B2B supply chain processes, from order creation to delivery and payment. Experience in aligning EDI and integration workflows with these processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitoring, Troubleshooting, and Production Support
Proven ability to monitor system health, detect anomalies, and resolve issues in production environments. Experience in working with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, finance) to ensure B2B and integration systems meet business needs., Required: Hands-on operational experience with Oracle B2B, composites, and Oracle Enterprise Manager, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support Strong understanding of EDI concepts, standards, transaction sets, and related business processes, including ANSI X12 and CXML Experience supporting EDI onboarding, transaction processing, issue resolution, and trading partner communications Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate clearly across vendors, trading partners, business users, and IT teams Strong problem-solving, follow-up, escalation, and root cause coordination skills Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining a customer-service mindset Ability to document partner setup requirements, process flows, support procedures, and test results clearly Experience using SQL tools such as SQL Developer for data validation, issue research, and transaction support is preferred, 5+ years of experience in EDI coordination, support, partner onboarding, or transaction management, preferably in an enterprise environment Bachelor’’'’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred Strong operational experience with Oracle B2B, composites, Oracle Enterprise Manager, EDI transaction processing, and trading partner support is required.
