Job description

We are looking for an experienced Trade IT Functional Support Analyst to join our Front Office Technology team. In this role, you will provide day-to-day support for trading applications and Order Management Systems (OMS), working directly with traders and business users to ensure the smooth execution of trades throughout the entire trade lifecycle., * Provide front-office production support for trading applications and Order Management Systems (OMS).

  • Work closely with traders, operations, and technology teams to resolve trading and application issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor trading systems to ensure business continuity and high system availability.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
  • Support the complete trade lifecycle, including trade capture, validation, allocation, settlement, and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with development teams on application enhancements and production releases.
  • Perform trade reconciliation and ensure accurate processing across internal and external systems.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries for troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Utilize Python scripting to automate repetitive support tasks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare operational documentation, incident reports, and support procedures.
  • Participate in system testing, deployment activities, and production releases.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting front-office trading environments within the financial services industry and possess a solid understanding of capital markets, brokerage operations, trade processing, and production support., * Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
  • Front Office Support
  • Trade Support
  • Trading Operations
  • Production/Application Support
  • Experience working within a financial institution, investment bank, brokerage, or asset management environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading floor environment.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
