Job description
Lenovo is looking for a trusted Technical Consultant to customers and sales teams across the full sales cycle - from early customer discussions to final solution design. Translate complex customer requirements into the right infrastructure architecture, correctly sized and commercially viable, focused on the customer’s business outcome rather than technology alone., Own the technical solutioning for complex infrastructure opportunities across the full sales cycle (discovery sizing architecture proposal
- deal support).
- Translate customer requirements into scalable architectures covering compute, storage, networking and AI / HPC where relevant.
- Conduct product demonstrations, proofs of concept (POCs), and technical presentations.
- Design and size solutions based on workload, performance and commercial constraints.
- Act as trusted advisor to customers, supporting technical discussions at expert and CIO level.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product and Services teams to build winning and margin-accretive solutions.
- Drive technical differentiation versus competition in strategic deals.
- Enable partners and internal teams on solution design, sizing tools and best practices.
- Support key bids and large opportunities, including RFP responses and technical presentations.
- Contribute to a shared sales target through solution wins, supporting pipeline progression and forecast accuracy.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Dangerous Goods Driver’s License license?, * Strong experience in infrastructure (servers, storage, networking), ideally with exposure to HPC / AI / high-performance workloads.
- Proven track record in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical advisory roles.
- Solid capability in solution sizing and architecture design (workloads, performance drivers, TCO considerations).
- Ability to simplify complex technical topics for different audiences.
- Strong customer-facing experience and confidence in senior-level discussions.
- Structured working style, able to manage multiple complex opportunities in parallel.
- Fluent English required; local-market language required per country.
